World Habitat Day is marked on the first Monday of October each year and is recognized by the United Nations to reflect on the state of towns and cities, and on the basic right of all to adequate shelter. This was first celebrated in 1986 in Nairobi, Kenya.
Budget 2022 12th of November
The budget for the fiscal year 2022 will be presented in the Parliament on November 12 and the third reading and the vote of Budget 2022 have been scheduled for December 10, according to the Minister Johnston Fernando. The decision has been taken at the party leaders’ meeting held today.
